Dr. Krupka, one of our published authors on staff, has written a number of articles that have appeared in The Exotic Guidebook as well as Exotic DVM Magazine. His special interests are in non-traditional species medicine and surgery and we are pleased to offer his services at Avon Lake Animal Clinic, where he has been a part of our team since 1999.

Dr. Krupka earned his Bachelors of Science in Biology from Heidelberg College and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He is a recipient of the Buddy Award from Hills Pet Nutrition, and he is an active member of a variety of prestigious veterinary organizations, including Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, Association of Avian Veterinarians, and Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians.

When he isn’t practicing medicine, Dr. Krupka can be found spending time with his wife, three children, and pets: two cats named Tiger and Lilly, and a Cavachon dog named Brutus. He is also a soccer coach and a Boy Scout leader who enjoys camping, hiking, and fishing. Fun fact: Dr. Krupka is also a small scale hobby farmer!

Dr. Lamb has been a part of the Avon Lake Animal Clinic team since 2006. He has special interests in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, with an emphasis on Tibial Tuberosity Advancement (TTA) for the deficient Cranial Cruciate Ligament. He also is experienced in pain management and oncology.

Dr. Lamb earned his Bachelors of Science from The Ohio State University in 1998 and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. He is an active member in a number of veterinary associations, including American Animal Hospital Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, and Ohio Veterinary Medical Association.

When Dr. Lamb is not practicing veterinary medicine, he may be found spending time with his wife and three children. They have a yellow Labrador named Daisy. Dr. Lamb enjoys golfing, hiking, fishing and watching college football. He is an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan…Go Bucks!

Dr. Michael Haddad has been a partner of the Avon Lake Animal Clinic since 2016. His is special interests include: Orthopedic surgery and Emergency medicine. Dr. Haddad obtained his veterinary education from Ross University. He is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Ohio Veterinarian Medical Association, and the American Animal Hospital Association.

When he is not practicing medicine, Dr. Haddad loves spending time with his wife and three children. He also enjoys yoga and golf. Dr. Haddad has a boxer named Brunhilda.

Dr. Emerman grew up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio with her parents, her sister, and their dogs. During her childhood, she was very active in sports and outdoor activities. Dr. Emerman attended The Ohio State University for a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Russian Literature. She continued her education at Ohio State, completing her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2019. Her special interests include internal medicine, endoscopy, soft tissue surgery, and exotic medicine and surgery. Dr. Emerman is an active member of the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, and the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians.

When she is not practicing medicine, Dr. Emerman enjoys spending her time running outside, hiking, and kayaking when weather permits, and boxing, cooking, and crossword puzzles when it doesn’t. She also loves taking trips together with her husband, or spending weekends at home with their two kittens Barbara and Francine.

Dr. Jacin graduated from John Carroll University with a Bachelor of Biology degree in 2009. In 2016, he graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. His first job after graduation was working as a small animal emergency veterinarian in Dublin, Ohio before working in a private practice in Columbus in 2017. Before coming to Avon Lake Animal Clinic, Dr. Jacin was the Chief of Staff at Banfield in Westerville for one and a half years. He enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but is most interested in surgery, preventive medicine and internal medicine.

Dr. Jacin and his wife recently moved to Northern Ohio from Columbus with their 2 sons, Nolan and Gavin, as well as their cat, Ashley. In their spare time, they enjoy outdoor activities and traveling to see new places. Dr. Jacin also enjoys watching all sports, especially the Browns, Cavaliers, Indians, Buckeyes, and Columbus Crew, and the Blue Jackets!

Dr. Letosky is a general practitioner at the Avon Lake Animal Clinic, and has been a part of the team since 1996. She has special interests in ultrasonography, and obtained her certification in this field through the University of Illinois Executive Veterinary Program. Dr. Letosky is also a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner. She received this certification through the University of Tennessee. She earned her Bachelors of Science from Wayne State University and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.

In addition to practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Letosky also enjoys golfing and birding. Her love for animals extends to her home life, where she has three pets: two cats named Radar and Shade, and a Boston Terrier named Tug. In 2022 Dr. Letosky was awarded a certificate in Veterinary acupuncture (CVAT) through the Canine Rehab Institute.

Dr. O’Donnell, who was instrumental in developing pain management protocols and dentistry standards at Avon Lake Animal Clinic, has been a part of our team since 2002. Her areas of special interest include feline medicine, internal medicine, dentistry, and pain management.

Dr. O’Donnell proudly earned her Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Miami University and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. She is an active member of American Animal Hospital Association, Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, and American Association of Feline Practitioners.

In her down time, Dr. O’Donnell enjoys outdoor activities with her children. She has two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Chloe and Cooper, and her three cats, Cole, Honey and Pixel.

Dr. Petti has been an important asset to the Avon Lake Animal Clinic team since starting in February 2009. Her special interests are in wound repair and reconstruction, soft tissue surgery, stem cell therapy, chemotherapy, and feline and canine internal medicine. She finds Avon Lake Animal Clinic to be the perfect place to practice high quality medicine and surgery, all with her personal touch of compassion and care.

Dr. Petti earned her Bachelor of Science from Northern Arizona University and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University where she graduated Phi-Zeta. She has earned a number of recognitions for her excellent veterinary skills; including an internship with the Student Conservation Association at Zion National Park, the Dick T. Wilson Scholarship, and a position in the Vet Prep Programs at Colorado State University which guaranteed her acceptance into veterinary school. She is also a member of American Veterinary Medical Association, Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, Colorado Veterinary Medical Association, South Carolina Association of Veterinarians, and American Animal Hospital Association.

Dr. Petti enjoys spending time with her husband Ivan and her two sons, Basil and Julian. Together they have a number of rescue pets including a Golden Retriever mix named Argo, a Maine Coon cat named Anchovy, and two sweet domestic short hair cats named Mary and Salamander.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Petti can be found sailing or spending time with her friends and family on the beaches of Lake Erie, running and hiking in Cuyahoga Valley National Park, or enjoying the vast restaurant scene in Cleveland, especially those that feature locally grown ingredients.

Dr. Schofield grew up in Avon Lake with her twin brother, her chocolate lab, Abby, and her guinea pig, Squeaker. She has been part of our clinic family since she was 15, working in our boarding facility, Paws by the Lake, before going to college. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Findlay where she spent her free time working various pet care positions and shadowing area veterinarians. After graduating, she attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and later completed a clinical program at Purdue University. Dr. Schofield is a member of the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association.

While she’s not caring for pets at Avon Lake Animal Clinic, she spends time with her chocolate lab, Brinley, and her domestic shorthair cats, Lucy and Elliott. She also enjoys grilling out with her family, spending time outdoors, traveling, following Cleveland sports teams and taking her dog for walks in the park!

Dr. Jessica Trent obtained her Bachelor of Science in Zoology from The Ohio State University. In 2015 she completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Ross University in St. Kitts with clinical rotations at the University of Florida. She practiced small animal general and emergency medicine in East Central Ohio for the past six years. Her professional interests include canine and feline dentistry, medicine and surgery. She enjoys gardening and travel, and shares her home with her husband, Mark, 4 dogs, and 3 cats.

Dr. Turner earned both his Bachelor of Science and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University.

His special interests include emergency medicine and surgery, trauma management, and soft tissue surgery.

Dr. Turner enjoys weightlifting, cycling, Ohio sports teams, and spending time with his family and friends.

Dr. Wamelink grew up in Cleveland Heights with her parents, her sister, and their two cats. When she was younger, she also participated in horseback riding. Dr. Wamelink attended Tulane University of New Orleans where she attained a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology and Cell and Molecular Biology. She then completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University in 2018. While attending veterinary school, Dr. Wamelink was actively involved with Shelter Medicine Club and VBMA, a student-led Veterinary Business Management Association. Dr. Wamelink is a member of the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, The American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, and the American Association of Feline Practitioners. Her special interests include feline medicine, small mammal exotic medicine, and behavior medicine.

While not caring for pets at Avon Lake Animal Clinic, Dr. Wamelink spends her time with her two cats Dinah and Alice. She also enjoys spending time with her family on the east side, traveling, going to Indians games, and activities such as rowing and cycling.

Dr. Holowecky grew up in Avon, Ohio. His special interests include orthopedics, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine.

Dr. Holowecky received his Bachelor of Science in Biology with honors from Lake Erie College. He continued his education at The Ohio State University, completing his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. During veterinary school, Dr. Holowecky was involved in various student organizations including Surgery Club, Food Animal Club, and the Veterinary Business Management Association.

Aside from veterinary medicine, he enjoys boating, farming, and is an avid outdoorsman. He also enjoys cheering on Cleveland sports teams, especially the Browns.

Dr. Cameron is originally from Parma, Ohio where she grew up with her parents and one older sister. Despite doing a lot of travelling in her life, she knew she always wanted to return back to Cleveland, a city of which she is proud! Her areas of special interest include exotic animal medicine, wildlife conservation, and public health.

Dr. Cameron earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Findlay before earning her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee. She also earned her Masters of Public Health from UT while attending veterinary school there. Dr. Cameron is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association and American Veterinary Medical Association and looks forward to giving back to her community through education and volunteer opportunities as she becomes more familiar with the area.

When not caring for your furry, scaly, and feathered children, she is caring for hers! Dr. Cameron has one dog named Blue and two cats, Laila and Levi. One day she is hoping to add a bird to her family! She also loves going to baseball games, traveling, taking care of her plants, and trying new restaurants and wineries with her fiancé and friends.

Dr. Radzin is originally from Illinois, but has spent the majority of her life in Chardon, Ohio with her parents, two siblings and family dog, Max! Her areas of special interest include soft tissue surgery, emergency medicine, behavior, nutrition and allergy management.

Dr. Radzin earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Cleveland State University before earning her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University. While attending veterinary school, Dr. Radzin was involved in student organizations such as Food Animal Club, Behavior Club and was an active member of the Student American Veterinary Medical Association.

When not practicing and learning more about veterinary medicine, Dr. Radzin is an avid reader, and also enjoys baking, painting, and trying new restaurants in the area. She can also be found exploring the outdoors and loves hiking and kayaking.

Originally from Strongsville (OH), Dr. Giannantonio earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from John Carroll University. She started veterinary school at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and later finished her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree at The Ohio State University. While in school Dr. Giannantonio was an active member of Veterinary Business Medicine Association and Zoo/Wildlife/Exotics club. Prior to vet school she worked for the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, helped run non-profit spay/neuter clinics in rural areas of the USA, and even did research on frogs in Costa Rica.

Dr. Giannantonio now lives in Westlake with her fiancé Timmy. She enjoys spending time with her big Italian family and dog Parker, boating/fishing out on Lake Eerie, and playing video games. She currently is in the process of developing new inventions specifically for veterinary medicine. Her goal is to someday join the American Veterinary Medical Association board and create an invention to better veterinary medicine.

Dr. Morgan S.Temple is excited to join the ALAC team! She recently moved to Ohio from NYC where she was the Medical Director and sole doctor of a small animal practice. She grew up in Connecticut, moved to Atlanta, GA to complete her undergraduate studies at Emory University, and then graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Temple is Fear Free and Low Stress Handling certified and works hard to apply this to her daily practice. She is also FEMA certified for disaster response and has traveled to Costa Rica and Nicaragua to perform spays, neuters, and other medical care to rural underserved communities and help educate the locals on daily animal care and the spread of zoonotic diseases. She has special interests in shelter medicine, disaster response, veterinary dentistry, and puppy training focusing on positive reinforcement.

Outside of the clinic Dr. Temple loves to spend time riding and caring for horses, biking, kayaking, hiking, playing tennis, and enjoying time with her family and friends. She looks forward to meeting you and your pets and promises to always treat them as she would her own.

Dr. Haddad has been a part of the Avon Lake Animal Clinic team since he purchased the practice in 1994. His special interests in the veterinary field include soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery, and emergency medicine, and he makes an incredible contribution to our practice in these areas.

Dr. Haddad completed his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University in 1984, and he is a current and active member in a number of organizations, including American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, and Ohio Veterinary Medical Association.

When Dr. Haddad isn’t at the practice, he is often found enjoying his hobbies which include boating, golfing, and cooking. He also enjoys spending time with his wife Tonya and two sons Anthony (who is a police officer in Mentor, OH) and Michael. Dr. Haddad’s love of animals follows him home where he has two pets: Minnie, a Standard Poodle; and Miyaga, Shih Tzu/Poodle mix.
