- Special Interests - Soft-tissue and orthopedic surgery, oncology, and internal medicine.
- Other - Worked in orthopedic research at Colorado State University, while in veterinary school, emphasizing on juvenile bone cancer and limb spare procedures.
- Personal - Dr. Petti was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. She is a graduate of Euclid High School and attended The Ohio State University. In 1995, Dr. Petti accepted an internship at Zion National Park in Utah where she worked on projects ranging from archeological digs to the Big Horn Sheep re-introduction. She then continued her education at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona where she received a combined bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences and Biology. During this time, she worked on the Navajo, Hopi and Apache Indian Reservations with a mobile veterinary clinic assisting animals in desperate need of veterinary care. Dr. Petti earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Colorado State University and then accepted a position at a Denver veterinary clinic. In 2009 Dr. Petti and her family made the decision to return to Cleveland, Ohio to be closer to her family and the city she loves. She currently is working at the Avon Lake Animal Clinic as a general practitioner.
Dr. Petti's professional interests include general preventative health, surgery, dentistry and internal medicine. She lives in Rocky River with her husband Ivan and two young sons Julian and Basil. Dr. Petti also has five four legged children: Argo-Golden mix, Aspen- Black Lab and three frisky felines named Mona, Mary and Salamander. In her free time, she enjoys spending as much time as possible with her wonderful family. She enjoys helping with community activities and taking vacations to anywhere with a beach.
